I had 5 hours of dance class over the weekend and did numerous crunches in each class. But for some odd reason, it feels like I have love handles that I didn’t have before when I sit down. Is it just me or is this supposed to happen?
I had 5 hours of dance class over the weekend and did numerous crunches in each class. But for some odd reason, it feels like I have love handles that I didn’t have before when I sit down. Is it just me or is this supposed to happen?

body fat has two factors.
1) the amount of cardio work that you are doing
It seems like you have that done if you continue to do dance class.
2) what you eat.
For example, if you are eating McDonalds everyday, the love handles will never go away even if you run a marathon everyday.
crunches make you gain muscle on abdomen and the whole area just looks bigger. plus you might have gained some water weight from intense cardio and not drinking enough water.
Just doing crunches isn’t going to burn away fat. Neither is only a few hours of dance class. It takes time to burn fat away. It might take months.
