by adding the muscle to your arms, legs and chest youre gaining weight

to lose the gut and love handles you need to lose weight. Eat clean, lift heavy, and do hiit.

Hmm, both answers have merit but aren’t correct.

Yes by adding muscle you ARE adding weight, but weight which requires more fuel to function – burning fat is the way it does this. It also burns more fat while it’s building the muscle. Win win so far.

Cardio will work so far as your body doesn’t get used to it, 30 minutes is just about right, but you should change your workout every week, your body adapts VERY quickly to aerobic exercise and will stop responding needing more and more to get results.

Really the best way is to walk more, this is sporadic exercise which the body doesn’t adapt to quickly as it’s stop – start, but does burn fat.

Drink 4 cups of green tea before 4pm, this raises your metabolism by around 6%

Do your exercise before 2pm if possible, this also raises your metabolism but also gives the body the right time it needs to repair.

Sleep before 10:30pm so the body can repair the ‘damage’ done during the day, you’ll work better, faster and stronger than before.

Don’t eat after 9pm, anything you do eat will have around 30% turn to stored energy.

Don’t miss meals, each meal you miss the next meal, no matter if it’s just a lettuce leaf will be stored as fat.

Eat 6 meals per day to boost the metabolism. Your stomach is only about the size of a fist, so small meals are just right.

Protein, look at your palm and halve it. This is how much good protein (turkey, chicken, fish etc..) you should eat at each meal. If you aren’t working out make this 1/3rd

Carbs, double the above for protein.

Lose sugar and sweeteners, drop the soda (all soda!) and use skim milk.

You will also benefit from a cleanse or detox. The quickest way is to go to a professional (found in your yellow pages under colonic) but this can be very embarrassing.

The other alternative is to cleanse at home. There are tons of herbal cleansers available but the one I use with great success is here – they give you a free 30 day trial which is usually enough for what you are trying to do. It’s a simple tablet once per day.

You stand to drop around 6 pounds in 30 days, I only lost 4 but the difference was terrific.

I reckon Darren has it down there – I just wouldn’t have anything to do with any ‘30 day limited places for your free trial blah blah blah’ That’s got scam written all over it. You may find it very hard to unsubscribe yourself from these ’services’ – there are lots of reports of this with people being unable to cancel the debits to their credit cards for months. Your choice.

The only thing that melts fat is a fire or steady aerobic exercise.

If you want an internal clean out then drink lots of vitamised fruit – after a day or so you will be a lot cleaner and as your internals are not having to work as hard to break down the raw food you will be jumping out your skin with energy, just don’t overdo it.
