I don’t have much cash to pay expensive fees for a gym and i don’t think i have what it takes to exercise at home. I want to lose a few pounds but the love handles are killing me. what are quick and easy ways to get rid of them? should i try a fat burner?

The local YMCA here only charges me $6 a month.
And it is really nice!
You have to exersize every single day,not once or twice a week.
You do need a gym.
I love the exersize bike with a backcrest–I can read and watch tv.
Also the treadmill, but EVERY DAY.
Ice, whiskey, and a meat-cleaver.
Eat less, cut back on the snacking, and try walking to and from work. Use the car less and walk to the shops, carrying back the groceries, et cetera. This can also provide a quiet “you” time.
Is it possible for you to try longer and easier exercise while watching TV or being online.
You can make some movements for hours while you are doing something else.
There are many kinds of crunches out there to help you lose the extra tummy fat or love handles. Try different kinds, like: put your hands behind your head and crunch up and left, so that your right elbow touches your left knee, and vice versa. There are also scissor-crunches which work well. Try doing a certain amount of crunches each day.
Make sure that you’re eating high-protein foods, but also make sure you have time to use the energy that you’re getting from the foods!! Clif bars are really nice snacks before you go running. Jumping-jacks and jogging can also get rid of the fat.
Just tuck your feet under a door…(or something similar)…and do situps!!!! Cost…………..nothing!!!
You unfortunately have to exercise. No doubts about it. And if you cut back on all of the condiments, like ketchup, mayonnaise, salad dressings with tons of fat in them. It will make a difference too. Use mustard instead of mayo. Replace all fluids with water, water is very filling and will help curve your appetite as well.
Good luck.:)
You don’t wanna go to a gym or exercise at home? You need to exercise somewhere!
try walking with your kids. they tend to keep a faster pace than we do. good bonding time with the kids too. try taking different routes to mix it up. swimming is an excellent source of excercise. good luck!
Girlfriend, I know what you mean!!! My advice…dance, dance dance! It seems like less of a workout! And the kids will love it! Also, cut out white flour and sugar as much as possible. Eat whole grain breads and pastas if you must have them. You know what else is fun, and you can get tapes or dvd’s to do it? Belly dancing! And you can realy feel it in those muscles. I would look at it on Comcast “on demand”.
start walking 30min everyday for a week, then 45min the next week, then try fast walking for another 2 weeks. you will feel better, try to walk early in the morning so you will start your day fresh.
Love handles are a tenacious foe for the average woman. I can understand not wanting to have some weird home workout but you do have to be willing to do some oblique exercises to target that area. I also would try altering your diet so that you make the most of your metabolisms calorie burning potential. I do this by eating small meals every 2hrs during the day up to 3hrs before hitting the sack.
mom,
You may try the YMCA as someone here suggested, but if you must travel to get there, you may not use the facilities as much as you should, which is daily.
Most folks do not drink enough water. You probably need to increase your water intake, which will help shed the pounds. Eating good, wholesome food is a problem all of us share…after all it takes some 20 mins. to prepare Hamburger Helper versus whatever it might take to fix something with less salt and fat. Ready-made salads have been a godsend to me…watch the salad dressing though.
Walk whenever you can, wherever you can. Do not waste your money on fat burners, as you are trying to do this on the cheap. You don’t really need them, and some of them can be harmful. Unfortunately, there are no “quick fixes” to your problem. It takes years to get out of shape, and it’ll take some dedication to get back into shape.
1. a. Breakfast: 1 bowl of whole wheat cereal, no sugar, w/skim milk
b. Lunch: 1 portion of meat(4-6 oz), very small salad,
c. Dinner: 1 portion of meat(4-6), 2 servings of vegetables.
d. Snacks: 1 piece of raw fruit, between breakfast and lunch. A four ounce portion of raw veggies between lunch and dinner. Drink 1 large glass of water 10 minutes before each meal or snack.
Beverages: Nothing with sugar in it. Limit diet soda, as it makes you very hungry. Only water, unsweet tea, black coffee.
As for exercise, be modest. Stand with your arms raised in the air. Bend at the waist and touch your toes. Repeat 10 times. Do this on at least 10 seperate occasions during the day.
I know this might be a little out there and you might not like it but…it is true that you loose 100’s of calories and even loose whieght during ***…30min session….1 hr is better and you can loose up to 500 cal. for a 1hr session.
I’ve been trying to get this accross to my wife but no go…maybe this can help you a little to loose those love handels..!
I **** to break it to you, but you get out of it what you put in. It takes LOTS of effort. I got great results, but I put in lots of effort. If it was easy there would be no fat people.
