unfortunately, we can’t spot reduce, so keep up healthy nutrition, and plenty of exercise (cardio, strength and stretching). they will go away slowly, but they will go away!!
sideways sit ups works for me… I use a slant board… which is what it sounds like, where the knees are elevated and your head starts near the ground… try to keep my **** flat on the board roll my torso to one side or the other and lean up… as you would be sitting up normally you are kinda just bending now. but it works great.

I have a personal trainer too and he said that the reason it would work and look trimmer is because it is still tightening up the muscle under the fat, so it isn’t that you are building the muscle but toning it, the best thing overall is cardio though and diet… but something that you can tolerate, not like a no carb diet or anything.
planks and side planks should do the trick. when i was in weightlifting in high school i got rid of that extra-ness in like a month doing those. they’re rough but worth it…
